To Kill a Mockingbird
T
uesday, February 10 @ 7:00 pm
Grand Prairie Center
Stuttgart, Arkansas

National Players, America's longest-running touring company, will perform To Kill a Mockingbird, a story of a sleepy, southern town which confronts difference and justice through the eyes of six-year old Scout. In the heroics of her father, the struggles of her friends and neighbors, and the threat of a boogeyman, Scout lives through the joys of childhood innocence and the pains of growing up. Based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, National Players is proud to stage this tale for the first time in its 65-year history. This performance is sponsored by the Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas.

Cirque Zuma Zuma features disciplined performers who are trained in Kenya and Tanzania. Many describe it as an African-style Cirque Du Soleil; such is the standard of the performers and the quality of the show. The performance showcases an array of never before seen talents mixed with some of the best skills associated with African variety arts.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Thursday, March 12 @ 7:30 pm
Grand Prairie Center
Stuttgart, Arkansas

"Goin' courting" has never been as much fun as in this rip-roaring stage version of the popular MGM movie. Set in Oregon in 1850, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers tells the story of Milly, a young bride living in the 1850's Oregon wilderness. Her plan to civilize and marry off her six rowdy brothers-in-law to ensure the success of her own marriage backfires when the brothers, in their enthusiasm, kidnap six women from a neighboring town to be their brides. Bursting with the rambunctious energy of the original film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is all boisterous fun and romance that harkens back to the glory days of the movie musical.

Yesterday & Today - The Interactive Beatles Experience
Friday, April 10 @ 8:00 pm
Grand Prairie Center
Stuttgart, Arkansas

What Makes Yesterday and Today different from every other Beatles show out there? Two Things: 1. no wigs, no accents. Creator Billy McGuigan says, "Once you take those elements away, you get down to what is the most important part, the magical music." 2. The requests. The band plays the entire Beatles catalogue note for note. The audience is encouraged to fill out a request form with their favorite Beatles song and reason why they chose the song. Those requests are organized 5 minutes before show time. The audience's requests make the set list for the evening and their story provides the evening's narrative.

The Remedy - Southern Rock, Gospel Genre
Saturday, May 30 @ 7:00 pm
Grand Prairie Center
Stuttgart, Arkansas

Closing out the 2014-2015 Performance Series, you'll get a chance to rock out with "The Remedy". Most important to The Remedy is the message they hope to tell through their music. Each member has a strong faith and a story to tell of the powerful things the Lord can do. And it will be done with real, raw rock and roll. No backing tracks, no auto tune, all live. That's how The Remedy rolls!
