The student picks up an application for graduation from the
Advisement Center or the Vice Chancellor for Instruction's office.

The student completes the application for graduation and returns
it to the Advisement Center. A copy will be sent to the student's advisor.

The advisor completes a degree audit and a graduation checklist.
If the student is determined to be eligible for graduation the advisor sends the completed
application for graduation and graduation checklist to the Vice Chancellor for
Administrative Services Office. Copies are sent to the Vice Chancellor for
Instruction.

The Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services Office sends a)
the completed application for graduation, b) a copy of the graduation checklist, c) a copy
of the student's transcript, d) the student's current schedule of classes, and e) degree
audit to the Vice Chancellor for Instruction. The originals are filed in the Vice
Chancellor for Administrative Services Office.

The application for graduation is evaluated by the Vice
Chancellor for Instruction, and a letter is sent informing the student whether he or she
has been approved for graduation.

A list of applicants with appropriate degrees or certificate is
sent to the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services' office. Degree information will
be placed on their transcripts.

Students who are graduating from Phil lips Community College with
an AA, AAS, or Certificate and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher will graduate
"with honors."
