9.03 Career Services Center

Advisors should work closely with the Director of Career Education Services to make sure that advisees take advantage of the services offered throughout their college experience. Undecided students should be encouraged to take advantage of free vocational interest inventories such as SIGI Plus as well as the library of career development materials. Advisors should request copies of aptitude and interest inventory results. Students close to graduation or those seeking work during their college experience can make use of counseling sessions on resume preparation and interviewing techniques. Seminars on employability skills are also offered.
