3.01 Admissions Procedures for New Freshmen

  1. The student requests an application form from the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services' office. A copy of the application for admissions is sent to the Director of Advisement and Assessment.
  2. The student requests that his high school principal or counselor send his transcript of credits to the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services. A copy of the transcript is sent to the Director of Advisement and Assessment and placed on file in the Advisement Center.
  3. Students applying in person are sent to the Advisement Center to schedule the COMPASS or ASSET test and orientation session. Students not applying in person will receive a letter from the Director of Advisement and Assessment asking them to call the Advisement Center and schedule the COMPASS or ASSET test.
  4. The student is referred to the Dean of the division to which he is seeking admission.
