Transfer Programs of Study: The Arts and Sciences Division offers transfer programs in Biology, Chemistry, Education, English, General Education, History, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Pre-med, Pre-law, Pre-pharmacy, Performing Arts, Social Sciences, and Speech. Each program offers the course work that is required in the first two years of most bachelors' degree programs at many four- year schools. Upon completion of requirements, students maybe award one of two associate degrees:

Partnership Agreements: To facilitate the transfer process, Phillips Community College has established partnership agreements with Arkansas State University, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the University of Central Arkansas, and Philander Smith College. Satisfactory completion of the Associate of Arts degree at PCCUA will be accepted as satisfying the general requirements at those institutions. A student who holds an Associate of Arts degree from PCCUA and meets guidelines from the college to which he/she wishes to transfer will be accepted to transfer with junior classification, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the University of Central Arkansas, and Philander Smith College.

Classes: Classes at PCCUA are small, guaranteeing you individual and personal attention that you often cannot find in freshman or sophomore classes at four-year schools.

Experienced Faculty: The experienced, well-prepared faculty care about each student and faculty are willing to take the extra step to help students succeed. All faculty members of our transfer courses have masters' or doctorate degrees.

Award Winning Advising System: Every student is assigned an advisor who attempts to meet with each of his/her advisees a minimum of three times per semester. Our advisors have developed close communication with their counterparts at four-year colleges and have special training in working with transfer students.
