CIS PAPER

1. Use references from the Internet. (At least 3 different references)

2. Minimum 2 pages up to 3 pages plus cover sheet, and reference page.

3. Use default settings when typing the paper with double spacing.

4. Cover page should have your name, class, class time, date, and topic. Cover page must have one of the following: clipart, graphic from Web, or border & word art.

5. Use spell check and proofread.

6. Paper will be graded for content. The first paragraph should be an introduction to the topic. The last paragraph should be your conclusion.

7. Use correct grammars, and sentence structure.

8. Use correct punctuation.

9. Do not plagiarize. (This is to steal and pass off the ideas or words of another as one’s own. Give credit to your sources.) FAILURE TO CITE YOUR REFERENCES WILL BE A NO PASS GRADE.

10. Type reference page using MLA format. We will use the NEW feature in Word 2007 to create our reference page.

11. Late papers will have 10 pts. deducted for every day late.

12. PAPER Due H1 October 31 (Friday) -----H2 & H20-October 30 (Thursday)

TOPIC DUE

Topics must be different for each student in each section. Topic must deal with computer technology/information technology. Topic must be approved by instructor.
