Changes in the course Computer Information Systems

Textbook changed from Discovering Computers 2007 to the new edition Discovering Computes 2008. New exams and quizzes had to be created in WebCT.

Changed textbooks for the lab portion of the class. New textbook is Microsoft Office 2007 Windows XP Edition. This software was a major upgrade from Office 2003.

Added the revised Student Learning Outcomes, Early Alert information, the Insurance and ACTS information to the syllabus.

The Skills Assessment Manager software SAM is no longer being used because of problems with the new version.

Continue to add more computer activities in the lecture portion of the course.
