I am so fortunate to have such a nice class.  It is rare that an instructor has such a wonderful session with all students arriving with their class reading completed.  Thank you for making my week-end class such a pleasure!

Those needing extra points may attend the following mini courses: The Panama Canal (October 16), Marbury vs. Madison (October 30), Doors of Perception (Sept. 30, October 28, November 18).  All sessions will be in the PCCUA Fine Arts Center (Hendrix Gallery) at 7:00 PM.

Please be prepared to discuss the following works by the October meeting.

Beowulf

Canterbury Tales.

We will read the following works in class:

Selected works by St. Augustine

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

You will need to bring several things to class with you.

Make sure you have summarized  one selection from the  Canterbury Tales, we will be doing a class activity that relates to this

All students received a “C” for mid-term.  This is because I do not have enough to give you a letter grade.  Remember, the main purpose of midterm grades is to determine those who are not performing adequately.
