Foundations of Excellence
at Phillips Community College

During this academic year PCCUA is one of 15 two-year institutions nationwide selected to participate in “Foundations of Excellence^® in the First College Year,” a major first-year self study and improvement planning process. PCCUA is one of four community colleges selected by the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges (AATYC) to participate in this project, funded in part by a Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation grant. Foundations of Excellence was developed by the Policy Center for the First Year of College. Its mission is to improve experiences for fist year students.
