*Please note that although some computer classes, such as Word Processing and Computer Operating Systems, can be geared to involve writing assignments and supplemental research, the two classes below are not conducive to these activities due to lack of time and subject matter.

Course Syllabi and Samples of Daily Work, Testing, and Course Revisions:

Course Requirements for both classes (new requirements for Fall, 2007):
Microsoft Office Version 2007 used for first time in both courses.
New, updated textbooks, data files, exercises, etc. for version 2007.
Grading percentages reflect the use of instructor-designed hands-on exams and online objective testing using ExamView, a testing tool provided with text, as well as some "new", "Critical Thinking" type of learning assignments provided for the first time in the new textbooks.
Spreadsheet Applications, chapter assignments are e-mailed through student e-mail accounts and graded online.
Relational Database assignments graded in hard copy form.
Other changes in grading scale, etc. are shown on the Fall, 2007 syllabi for both classes below.
