Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas is seeking qualified applicants for the following position on the Stuttgart Campus.  This job posting is for a full-time, 9 month position.

Associate Degree Nursing Faculty-Satellite Program
Stuttgart Campus

Essential Job Duties:

·                    Provide theory and clinical instruction for ADN students on the Helena campus for the 2008-09 academic year and the Stuttgart campus in 2009-2010 and thereafter pending AR State Board of Nursing approval of satellite program;

·                    Maintain regular posted office hours;

·                    Collaborate and participate in college/nursing committee work as well as on-going nursing curriculum development;

·                    Maintain clinical competency and develop/maintain skills in a variety of teaching/learning methodologies including distance education and web enhanced courses;

·                    Travel to and from clinical sites within a 75 mile radius;

·                    Attend orientation programs; and

·                    Perform other related responsibilities as required.

 Qualifications:     Bachelor’s degree in nursing with two years of clinical experience required.  Masters degree in nursing with expertise in child health and teaching experience preferred.  Must have an active, unencumbered license to allow practice as a registered nurse in Arkansas and demonstrate expertise and competence in nursing practice.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience.  Position is open until filled.
