PCCUA has university
transfer programs and vocational programs which prepare
students for a job.
The transfer program offers an associate of arts
degree, an associate of liberal study degree, or an associate of science
degree. Although there is only one degree in each area, there are
multiple programs of study for the degree chosen by a student.
The vocational program at PCCUA offers 14
associate of applied science degrees, 13 technical certificates, and 26
certificates of proficiency. A student may earn more than one
vocational degree.
Arkansas Statewide Transfer
The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information
about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and
universities. Students are guaranteed transfer of applicable credits and
equitable treatment in application of credits for admissions and degree
requirements. Course transferability is not guaranteed for courses
listed in ACTS as "No Comparable Course." Additionally, courses with a
"D" frequently do not transfer and institutional policies may vary. ACTS
may be accessed on the internet by going to the ADHE website and
selecting Arkansas Course Transfer (http://adhe.edu).
