To withdraw from a Community Education non-credit course, you must call the office no later than the day before the class begins in order to receive 100% refund. If you call the day the class starts or after, no refund will be given.
Fitness Center (non-credit)
Join our Fitness Center and let us help you become a healthier person. The fitness center is open on Monday through Thursday: 7:00 am-7:00 pm. Monday through Thursday; and 7:00-3:00 pm on Friday. Semester fee is $55. Full time students $25; and seniors (60 and older) $25. Seniors' registration covers enrollment until August 2018.
Martial Arts (credit or non-credit)
Tae Kwon Do meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 16-April 26. Non-credit (ages 6-14) will meet from 5:30-6:30 pm, and the adult class meets from 6:30-7:30 pm. Children ages 6-14: $55; adults ages 15 and up $75. Credit class is 6:30-7:30 pm at a cost of one credit hour.
This is an 8-week program meeting on Wednesday from January 17-March 7. Ages 4-7 (5:00-6:00 pm); ages 8-12 (6:00-7:00 pm); Cost is $50.
Wine Tasting Class
Classes meet on Wednesday, February 7 and February 21 at 6:30 pm. Pre-register for both nights and receive a $10 discount. Limited space, so register early. A 24-hour notice is required for refunds. One night-$30; two nights-$50. Classes are held in the Community Room of the Fine Arts Building.
Free yoga classes on Monday or Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 am or 5:00-6:30 pm, starting January 22-Apr. 25. Must call Wandra Williams at 816-1210 to register. Classes are held in the Hendrix Gallery.
ACT Math, English and Reading Review
Review your English, math or reading skills for the ACT Assessment Test. The national ACT test dates are one week after each workshop. Review dates are February, 3, April 7, and June 2. The math portion will meet from 8:00-11:00 am. The English/Reading portion will be from 12:00-3:00 pm. The cost for one subject is $30; two subjects $50.
Dance for Children
Classes for fall start the week of January 8. Students returning from the fall semester will have the same schedule. Where space is available, newcomers my enroll but will not participate in the recital. The spring recital will be April 28, at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm in the Lily Peter Auditorium. Tuition cost is the same as it was in the fall semester.
PCCUA’s Early Childhood Education Program will provide activities, fun and games for kids 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and admission is FREE. All activities will be held in the gym from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, Sat., April 7.
Come out and enjoy an evening of adult basketball on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 4:30-7 p.m. Basketball is Jan. 20 - May 6. Cost is $30.
