Arts and Sciences Associate of Arts Program
The Arts and Sciences Program serves two functions: it provides students desiring to transfer to a four year college or university with the skills needed to succeed, and it provides the general education core needed to complete technical certificates and degrees.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Students enrolled in the general education core or transfer program will demonstrate skills to do the following:

Communicate effectively in a written and oral manner,

Demonstrate knowledge of history, art, literature, and other cultures,

Demonstrate knowledge of mathematical knowledge and skills,

Demonstrate skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning,

Demonstrate technological knowledge and skills.
