Arts and Sciences Associate of Science Program
The Arts and Sciences Program (Associate of Science degree) provides students desiring to transfer to a four year college or university with the skills needed to succeed in advanced degrees.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
With an emphasis on math and science, the student learning outcomes include:
- Demonstrate knowledge of mathematical reasoning and skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of scientific processes
- Demonstrate skills in problem solving, critical thinking and scientific reasoning
- Communicate effectively in a written and oral manner
- Demonstrate knowledge of history, art, literature and other cultures
