Arts and Sciences Associate of Science Program

The Arts and Sciences Program (Associate of Science degree) provides students desiring to transfer to a four year college or university with the skills needed to succeed in advanced degrees. 

Program Student Learning Outcomes

With an emphasis on math and science, the student learning outcomes include:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of mathematical reasoning and skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge of scientific processes
  • Demonstrate skills in problem solving, critical thinking and scientific reasoning
  • Communicate effectively in a written and oral manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge of history, art, literature and other cultures
