Business Administration Program
A business degree from PCCUA will prepare students for a world of opportunities in a business career and is a pathway to a bachelor’s degree. The Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration provides students with the necessary courses to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a baccalaureate degree in business and is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the business environment with an emphasis on the core business concepts of accounting, business law, economics, communications, and business statistics.
This two-year degree program prepares students for business majors in areas such as accounting, finance, management, marketing, human resources, agricultural business, and other business-related fields.

Program Goals
Upon completion of the Associate of Arts in Business Administration Program, students will be able to:
- Apply the legal and ethical issues in business situations;
- Demonstrate business professional work ethic, attitude, and values as they relate to the business environment;
- Demonstrate use of software and technology skills needed to perform in a business environment;
- Analyze business, statistical, and economic transactions to prepare financial reports used for decision making in the business environment;
- demonstrate effective communication skills in a business professional manner; and
- Demonstrate ability to interact in a professional manner with diverse groups.
