“PCCUA provided me with a great foundation on which I can build my career. Here, I had the opportunity to work toward my degree with small classes where the instructors got to know me as an individual. I really enjoyed learning in a place where everyone cares about students and was willing to take the time to help me reach my goals.”

“PCCUA has taught me so many things. Before attending PCCUA, I did not know what to expect. I always had this negative mindset when it came to myself. I thought I would not finish. Many times, I wanted to give up, but by attending PCCUA you can do nothing but continue to strive for the best. The support system is amazing! When I felt like things were getting hard, my instructors always gave me that extra push to keep going, and I did it! September 2018, I was an intern at a local clinic for six weeks. During those weeks, I learned so much I did not know I could do. March 2019, the same clinic called me back for a job position. I was so excited! All those times I had doubted myself, I finally proved to myself that I could do whatever I put my mind to. May 2019, I graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Office Technology. Attending PCCUA was the best thing I have ever done. They taught me to be strong and to never give up. There is always someone there to help if you need it. Everything I learned from them I use everyday at work, and I am growing more and more powerful and ambitious every day. Thanks to all of the Faculty, Staff, and Students that have been a big help in my success!”

"Choosing to enroll in classes at Phillips Community College was the best decision I have ever made for myself.  The students and staff are some of the best that can be found anywhere.  I gained the skills and knowledge that I needed to make me successful in my new career as an office manager at Agri Process Innovations in Stuttgart, Arkansas.  Not only did my instructors teach me the skills that I needed to succeed, they helped me achieve a major goal in my life.  I am a college graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Office Technology, and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.  I would not be the person or valued employee that I am today without the training that I received at Phillips Community College.  What they say about PCCUA is true.  You can start here and go ANYWHERE!"

“My experience at PCCUA was nothing short of amazing. I was one of the few out my senior class that chose to stay local. I’ve never wanted to get too far from home, so having the option to stay local just felt right. I liked the smaller atmosphere and the closeness of the college. PCCUA made things so easy, from signing up for classes, figuring expenses out for classes, to directing me down the right road. I finished my degree with an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Technology and earned a Certificate of Proficiency in Medical Coding. My advisor, Kayla Holland, was nothing but amazing. She was always a phone call away with anything I needed. I’m so proud to be a part of the Ridge Runner family, and I know the skills I learned at PCCUA have helped in my career as lead clerk at our local health unit.”

"My time attending PCCUA has been a great experience! Never have I attended a school with such encouraging and supportive instructors. The Faculty and Staff are wonderful here! The size of the classes is not overwhelming, so the instructors are able to spend more time working with and getting to know the students. It made my learning experience more enjoyable than stressful. I my goal was to graduate May 2019 but was not sure I would make it with my work load and children’s school activities. With the help and encouragement of my Advisor and Instructors I was able to reach my goal. To my surprise, I even graduated as an Honor’s Student!"
