Business Communication Luncheon Spring 2019
Students taking the Business Communiation course have the opportunity to visit with area business leaders and practice their dining etiquitte at a luncheon held at PCCUA's historic Pillow-Thompson House. This luncheon is an annual event and offers the students a chance to apply the networking skills they have learned during the course.
Students Receive Medical Terminology Perfect Exam Scores!
These Phillips Community College-Helena students have received perfect exam scores in the medical terminology memory program known as the Dean Vaughn Learning System where they were tested over 350 medical word elements. In November 2019, the Sigma Kappa chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Phillips College held an induction ceremony in Helena-West Helena for new members. Among those inducted were Business students Cynthia Esters and Mary Katherine Saia; not pictured is Wanya Wilkins. The inductees met the requirements of a minimum 3.5 GPA and at least 12 transferable college hours.
