Shawnessi King, of West Helena, has been chosen as the new recipient of the Helena Regional Medical Center Scholarship at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas. King is enrolled in the associate degree nursing (ADN) program on the Helena campus.
This scholarship, established in 2003, is awarded to a nursing student on the Helena Campus. The scholarship pays full tuition each fall and spring and is renewable, providing the recipient maintains a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
