Williams delivers the 2025 Commencement Speech for Phillips County

Harvey Williams Jr. delivered an inspiring and powerful message to the 2025 graduating class during the Phillips County Commencement Ceremony. Williams emphasized the importance of having a purpose, plan, and persistence— three pillars he encouraged graduates to carry with them beyond their time at PCCUA. He reminded students that while life may bring both challenges and triumphs, there is value in every experience. "There is beauty in both failure and success," he shared, urging graduates to take time to reflect not just on what worked, but why, and to learn from the moments that didn’t go as planned. Williams spoke candidly about resilience, responsibility, and the importance of growing, even in the face of adversity. His words were a call to action, encouraging students to not just dream, but to actively pursue their goals with focus and faith.
