Fall 2025 DeWitt Campus

Intro to iPhone Use for Seniors: Discover how to use your iPhone to make calls, send and receive text messages, check emails, and facetime with family and friends. You'll also learn how to adjust the font size and explore a variety of senior-friendly apps. The class will be taught by April Herring with time and date TBA. 

Move With Ease: The Move With Ease program is a series of routines intended for adults with chronic pain. The design of this class includes yoga-based movements to strengthen and increase flexibility, breathing exercises, body scan/guided meditation exercises, and short lessons on self-management techniques for chronic pain. This is a 6-week class, 2 days a week.Times and dates TBA.

Door Hangers:  Come join us for a holiday door-hanger class! All supplies will be provided, and the class will be taught by Chantel Poor. Time and date TBA.

Sip & Swipe: Grab your best friend and join us for a community favorite event! Enjoy a relaxing evening of painting guided by Hollye Beardon. Snacks, wine and water will be provided. Time and date TBA.

Bread Baking 101: Have you ever wanted to learn how to bake bread? Keri Isom will walk you through easy steps and demonstrations. Afterwards, you'll have the chance to make and take home your own loaf of bread. Time and date TBA.

Intro to Canva: Interested in learning how to use the free online graphic design app? Join us to explore the basics for personal, classroom, or small business use. You'll learn how to create social media graphics, presentations, holiday cards, and more. Taught by Kalli Mannis. Time and date TBA.

Fall 2025 Helena Campus

Fitness Center (non-credit): Join our Fitness Center, and let us help you become a healthier person. The fitness center is open on Mon. - Thur., from 6:30-1:30 pm, and 6:30 am - 3:00 pm on Fri. Semester fee is $55; full-time students $25; and seniors (60 and older) $25.


Martial Arts (non-credit):  Tae Kwon Do meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 2 - Nov. 20. Ages 6-14 will meet from 5:30-6:30 pm, and ages 15 and up meet from 6:30-7:30 pm. Children ages 6-14($55); ages 15 and up ($75).


Dance for Students: Classes for fall start the week of Aug. 18. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and private lessons are available to students. Students are encouraged to register before the end of July to enable placement. Accepting students ages 4 and up. Preschool 4-5 yrs. $90; Grades 1-2 $100, Grades 3-12 $120; Hip Hop $65.00. Limited slots for Trio $120; Duets $140.00; Priority given to the older students for private lessons. Instructors to be determined.


Let's Paint!: Come join Kathy Dulaney for a fun evening of painting on Thursday, Oct. 23. Participants will create and paint a fall-themed canvas. Supplies and refreshments will be provided. Cost is $25 per person and seating is limited.


Shop Talk: Join the Cosmetology Dept. for an informative workshop focused on achieving healthy skin, vibrant hair, and strong, beautiful nails! Whether you're a beauty enthusiast or just beginning your self-care journey, this session will provide expert tips, personalized routines, and DIY treatments for glowing skin, nourished hair, and flawless nails. At the end of the workshop, participants can choose one service provided by our talented cosmetology students (Manicure, Pedicure, Facial, Shampoo/Style). The cost is $10, and space is limited. Beyond Cell Towers: The Future of Emergency Communication When the Grid Goes Down: Join us for an exciting and informative Amateur Radio (Ham) Workshop on Oct. 16! Whether you're a licensed operator, a tech enthusiast, or simply curious about ham radio, this event is for you. Topics will cover emergency communications, community service, health & welfare communication, state-of-the-art technology, and off-grid communications. Discover how ham radio, combined with advanced technology, can keep you connected when traditional communication networks fail. This workshop is ideal for beginners, emergency responders, and tech-savvy operators! The workshop is free!


Lunch and Learn: Take a Break and Invest in your Health!:  PCCUA, in collaboration with UAMS East Regional Campus, will host three interactive health and wellness sessions. These sessions will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, and Nov. 18. Join us for the "Just for the Health of It" series, offering practical wellness tips to help you live a healthier life! Topics may include Diabetes, Healthy Eating/Cooking, Healthy Lifestyles, Knowing Your Numbers, and Wellness/Self-Care. Lunch will be provided. Reserve your spot today!


Cocktails and Confections: A Holiday Dessert adn Cocktail Experience: Celebrate the season with a hands-on holiday dessert and cocktail-making class! Join Michelle Waites and Kirk Whiteside in this festive workshop, where you'll learn to create delicious holiday treats and perfectly paired cocktails that will wow your guests. From classic desserts to seasonal drinks, you'll discover essential techniques, flavor pairings, and presentation tips. Whether you're hosting a holiday party or looking to enhance your culinary skills, this evening of mixing, baking, and merry making is for you! Attendees will get to sample all the desserts and cocktails made during the class, leaving with both new knowledge and a happy sweet tooth. Open to all skill levels! The workshop will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 6:00-8:00 pm, with a cost of $25 per person.


CPR for the Health Care Provider: The class will meet for one Friday morning from 9 am – 2 pm on one of the following dates: Sept. 5 or 12. Cost is $75 and is limited to 10 students per class. Nursing students must register with Wandra Williams at (870) 739-0308 or wwilliams@pccua.edu.

To withdraw from a CommunityEducation noncredit course,you must call the office no later than the day before the class begins to receive a full refund.

Fall 2025 Stuttgart Campus

Trunk or Treat Downtown Stuttgart:  A safe and fun way for kids to celebrate Halloween! Families and local businesses will decorate their car trunks and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Enjoy games, music, and festive decorations throughout the event. Join us on Oct. 31, starting at 4:00 PM!


Mommy and Me Painting: A fun and creative experience for mothers and their children to bond. Join us for a guided painting session where you and your little one can create a masterpiece together. All materials will be provided. Date and time to be announced.


Formal Portraits (Grand Prairie Center): Preserve treasured family memories with a professional portrait session. Whether for holiday cards or keepsakes, this event offers a perfect chance for families to gather and create high-quality photos. Date and time to be announced.


Family Movie Night: Come together with loved ones under the stars or in a cozy indoor space to enjoy a family-friendly movie. Bring blankets and snacks for a night of fun, entertainment, and community bonding. Date and time to be announced.
