Amr Alkarsh (not pictured) of Helena has been awarded the Helena Industries Scholarship to attend Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas–Helena. He is currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. This two-year academic scholarship provides $500 each fall and spring semester for students who maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate academic potential, be well-rounded individuals, and enroll as full-time students.
