Black History Month Series Encourages Knowledge, Leadership, and Civic Engagement
Students participated in a four-day Black History Month series focused on navigating today’s society through knowledge, reflection, and open conversation. The student-centered sessions explored family dynamics, healthy relationships, cultural identity, stereotypes, self-expression, leadership, and the importance of voting.
By allowing students to engage with topics relevant to their lives and communities, the series promoted critical thinking, cultural awareness, and personal growth. Each discussion provided practical insight intended to help students become more informed, confident, and prepared to make a positive impact in their communities.
