Throughout his career, he has remained focused on mentorship, leadership, and helping others succeed.
His dedication to service extends far beyond his profession. Koen has served as President of the DeWitt Public Schools Board of Education and the DeWitt Rotary Club and was appointed by the Governor to the Arkansas State Plant Board. He remains actively involved in numerous agricultural and civic organizations and currently serves as President of the UAM Alumni Association.
Koen and his wife, Kristen, are the parents of seven children and grandparents of three grandchildren. He also maintains a special connection to PCCUA through his youngest son, a 2021 graduate.
