Bronson selected 2024 Outstanding Staff at PCCUA
In her third year as the Director of Public School Relations and Foundation Chair for the PCCUA-DeWitt Campus, Savanna Bronson’s dedication has earned her selection as this year’s Outstanding Staff at PCCUA. In addition, she will receive special recognition by Arkansas Community Colleges during its annual meeting this fall.
A lifelong resident of the DeWitt community, Bronson received a B.S. degree from the University of Mississippi. Her initial career path following college graduation did not involve education; however, her passion for the field inspired her to return to school and earn a Master of Education degree in educational studies, thereby expanding her expertise.
If you were to ask Bronson what she enjoys most about her role, she would emphasize that, in addition to her wonderful colleagues, her primary motivation is the opportunity to help students plan their futures. Whether acting as a liaison for the DeWitt campus by assisting local high school students or engaging with non-traditional students who have chosen to pursue post-secondary education, she is dedicated to listening and finding ways to support their aspirations through Phillips Community College.
Bronson also noted that she can’t envision her life or professional career without the daily joy she derives from working with students at PCCUA. The possibility of making education more accessible for students is both a profound reward and a testament to her belief that the educational field is her true calling.
