PCCUA’s Campus Action Referral and Evaluation System, known as C.A.R.E.S., provides a proactive way to connect students with assistance when concerns arise about their physical, emotional or academic well-being.
Through the program, trained campus professionals respond to referrals, identify helpful resources and provide continued follow-up. Reports may address changes in behavior, distressing personal circumstances, substance use, safety concerns, Title IX-related matters or other situations that could affect a student’s success.
Faculty, staff, students and parents may initiate the referral process through the Ridge Net portal. The C.A.R.E.S. team then works to ensure that students receive appropriate guidance and support.
