PCCUA used electronic wellness and academic-support campaigns to check in with students and identify those who may need additional assistance. The interactive messages asked students about their motivation, overall support needs, and readiness to begin the academic year.
The Rowdy Wellness Check was distributed to 796 recipients. Of the 28 students who responded to the support question, 13 indicated that they needed motivation or additional assistance. A separate Academic Support and Retention campaign received 15 survey responses, with seven students reporting that they needed help getting their academic year started.
By providing students with a simple and confidential way to communicate their needs, these outreach efforts helped the college recognize potential concerns and connect students with appropriate support.
