Green addresses 2024 graduating class at PCCUA

Amy Green, a Deputy Prosecutor for the First Judicial District of Arkansas, delivered a motivational message to the 2024 graduates of the Helena-W. Helena campus of PCCUA as she gave the commencement address Friday evening.

A Phillips County native and PCCUA graduate, Mrs. Green is also a co-founder with her husband, Michael, of Helena’s first small batch specialty coffee roastery and tasting room known as Ridge City Roasters.

Green noted the important roles that PCCUA has played in her life and the lives of her family, adding that PCCUA faculty and staff pushed her to demand excellence from herself. She left the graduates with these five important tips: 1) use your time wisely; 2) consumer debt is not your friend; 3) it matters who you marry, so choose wisely; 4) travel the world, and 5) don’t dismiss the Arkansas Delta and everything it has to offer.
