New Coolidge recipient announced at PCCUA
Jerkalyn Vann, of West Helena, has been named the recipient of a Coolidge Scholarship at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA). Vann is currently majoring in early childhood education at PCCUA-Helena.
Bill Coolidge, of Memphis, established the Caroline Gibson Coolidge Scholarship Endowment at Phillips Community College in memory of his sister, the late Caroline Gibson Coolidge, who loved the arts. The endowment provides two scholarships annually in the performing arts and humanities at PCCUA.
The Coolidge Scholarship provides full-tuition each fall and spring semester for the recipient. Recipients must maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA while receiving the scholarship.
