Due to generous contributions from the Helena Health Foundation (HHF), many allied health majors at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas-Helena are receiving scholarships to help them reach their educational goals. Among those receiving an HHF Scholarship this semester for the practical nurse program is Connie Welton, of West Helena.
The mission of the Helena Health Foundation is to support and improve the public well-being and quality of life in Phillips County. The Foundation's three areas of focus are health education, access to healthcare and healthcare and wellness.
