PCCUA Celebrates 2025 Honor Graduates and Outstanding Students

The 2025 honor graduates attending classes on the DeWitt and Stuttgart campuses of Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) were celebrated during a reception before commencement on Thursday, May 16. These students maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, demonstrating consistent academic excellence throughout their college journey.

From Almyra: Christian Relyea, Sidney Relyea, Courtney Rinchuso, Ronnie Ward, Kenzie Wood
From Carlisle: Ethan Foster, Damarise Moreira
From DeWitt: Kathryn Abel, Faith Chambers, Adryan Cox, Cassidy Hopkins, Wyatt Jones, Jayln Mannis, Ashtyn Miller, Jesse Nelson, Carlee Pollard, Greyson Riggins, Alex Rush, Kenli Wright, Whitney Wright
From Elaine: Emily George
From England: Sydney Livingston, Brooklynn Sullivan
From Gillett: William Jackson, Tonya Simpson
From Pine Bluff: Angelia Thornton
From Stuttgart: Janiya Clark, Lisa Herrera, Ashley Jackson

In addition to honor graduates, PCCUA recognized three students as Outstanding Students of the Year for their exceptional academic performance, campus involvement, and leadership.

Jesse Nelson, DeWitt Traditional Student, holds a perfect 4.0 GPA and is a Phi Theta Kappa member. As a reliable Help Desk work-study, Nelson goes above and beyond in supporting campus life. He plans to transfer to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville to continue his education.

Brooklynn Sullivan, Stuttgart Traditional Student, is pursuing an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Known for her warm personality and strong work ethic, she has served two years as a work-study in Student Services and is active in student activities. Sullivan plans to become a teacher.

Lisa Herrera, Stuttgart Non-Traditional Student, is balancing motherhood, full-time employment, and outstanding academic work in the Information Systems Technology AAS program. She has earned multiple certificates and is on track to complete her degree with a focus in Cyber Security. Herrera is admired for her perseverance and commitment.

PCCUA proudly honors these students whose dedication reflects the college’s mission to support academic success, personal growth, and community leadership.
