Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas is proud to announce that Harvey Williams Jr., co-founder of Delta Dirt Distillery, will serve as the 2025 commencement speaker for the Helena campus. A fourth-generation farmer turned award-winning entrepreneur, Williams has transformed Helena’s Cherry Street with his family-run Delta Dirt Distillery, earning national recognition from Forbes and winning Arkansas' Governor’s Award for “Tourism Attraction of the Year.” With degrees in Biological & Agricultural Engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Thomas More University, Williams's journey from corporate America to launching a world-class spirits brand is a testament to innovation, grit, and Delta pride.

Through his work and service, as President of the Phillips County Chamber of Commerce and advisor to community and educational organizations, Williams continues to “Raise Spirits in the Delta.” We are thrilled to welcome him as this year’s speaker, inspiring our graduates with a message rooted in legacy, leadership, and purpose.
