Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas invites the community to attend the annual Workshop in the Arts performance, "Celebrate America: 250 Years," on Thursday, June 25, at 6 p.m. in the Lily Peter Auditorium on the PCCUA Helena campus.
The performance will showcase the talents and creativity of students who participated in this
year's Workshop in the Arts program. Through music, movement, and artistic expression,
participants will celebrate America's 250th anniversary while highlighting the spirit, history, and
culture of the nation.
Each summer, Workshop in the Arts provides young students with opportunities to explore the
arts in a fun and engaging environment while developing confidence, creativity, and teamwork
skills. The final performance allows students to share what they have learned with family,
friends, and members of the community. The event is free and open to the public.
Workshop in the Arts instructors and assistants are Elizabeth Hensley, Art Instructor; Mollie
