Three area students have been awarded two-year academic scholarships to Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas-Helena.
Receiving the full-tuition Academic Excellence Scholarship is Aubrey Tyler, of West Helena.
Among those receiving the Technical Achievement Scholarship are Tatyana Ursery, of Jonesboro, and Kaleb Charlton, of Marvell.
Ursery is majoring is majoring in practical nursing, while Charlton and Tyler have chosen CDL/truck driving and computer information systems, respectively.
These scholarships were awarded based on American College Test scores and high school grade point averages.
