In addition to one-on-one support, we provide guided help resources and training to build confidence with instructional technology and everyday campus systems

- Using email and Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
- Troubleshooting common issues (browser settings, passwords, course access, file uploads)

- Blackboard course setup and organization
- Grade Center support and student communications
- Online teaching tools and best practices (including strategies that strengthen regular and substantive interaction)
Quick Start Checklist
- Log in to Blackboard and open each course
- Review your syllabus and due dates
- Confirm your PCCUA email account and check it daily
- Log into your Workday Student account to access your student academic information

The Virtual Technology Academy offers training opportunities throughout the year to support:
- Blackboard basics and course navigation
- Creating and submitting documents (Word/PDF)
- Using online meeting tools and digital communication
- Online learning success strategies (time management, staying engaged, getting support early)
