The Teaching CP prepares students for entry-level educational support roles. Outcomes emphasize foundational knowledge, professional behavior, and basic classroom assistance.
Identify basic principles of child development and learning relevant to classroom settings.
Describe the roles and responsibilities of educational support personnel.
Recognize developmentally appropriate practices in early learning and elementary environments.
Demonstrate professional communication and ethical behavior in educational settings.
Assist with instructional and classroom activities under direct supervision.
