Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is proud to announce a significant milestone in student achievement and institutional excellence. According to the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE), PCCUA posted the highest fall-to-fall retention rate among two-year institutions, at 69.7%. This exceptional retention rate underscores the college’s dedication to keeping students engaged, supported, and on track for graduation. In addition to this achievement, PCCUA also recorded one of the highest increases in on-time graduation rates among two-year colleges statewide — an impressive 13.6% jump from the Fall 2021 cohort to the Fall 2022 cohort. This increase brought PCCUA’s on-time graduation rate to 45.2%, placing the college among the top-performing two-year institutions in Arkansas.

“These numbers reflect the unwavering commitment of our faculty, staff, and support services to ensuring that every student has the tools and support they need to succeed,” said PCCUA Chancellor Dr. Keith Pinchback. “We are incredibly proud to play a transformative role in the lives of our students through personalized instruction, quality education, and accessible pathways to meaningful careers.”

With affordable tuition, small class sizes, and a deeply invested faculty, PCCUA remains a top choice for both recent high school graduates and adult learners looking to further their education or change career paths. The college offers a wide range of academic and technical programs designed to meet the needs of today’s job market, while also maintaining a strong focus on academic advising, career planning, and encompassing support services.
