Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is proud to announce an increase in enrollment for Fall 2025, reflecting the college’s continued commitment to student access, success, and community growth.
According to preliminary data from the Arkansas Higher Education Information System (AHEIS), PCCUA’s headcount enrollment increased by 3.8%, rising from 1,213 students last year to 1,262 this fall. The college also saw a 12.51% increase in full-time equivalency (FTE), growing from 715 to 805 students. This growth reflects both increased community engagement and a stronger commitment to helping students achieve—and sustain—their academic and career goals.
This announcement follows PCCUA’s recent recognition as the institution with the highest student retention rate in the state of Arkansas, a distinction that underscores the college’s dedication not only to attracting students but also to ensuring they persist and succeed.
“Our enrollment increase, paired with being recognized for the highest retention rate, demonstrates that PCCUA is more than just a starting point—it’s a place where students are supported from the moment they arrive until they reach their goals,” said Dr. Pinchback, Chancellor of PCCUA. “We are incredibly proud of the work our faculty and staff do every day to create an environment where students thrive.”
PCCUA continues to expand opportunities through innovative academic programs, workforce training, and strong student support services, ensuring that students have the resources they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
